This is a perfect size and weight for a (EDC) knife 8" overall length, 5.2oz. weight 6.3oz. with lea. sheath, and its Full Tang Construction as we all know the strongest knives made are made like this what's stronger than one piece/ bar of steel. The 4" Blade is 440 stainless steel and has a Mirror Polish Finish, and is easy to keep a razor's edge on it (Rc) 56 to 58 hardness, also on the blade is ER-561 Custom Design Hand forged what more could you ask for. The Bolster is also stainless steel and there's a Red Inlay between the bolster and wood. I just wanted to make sure you noticed that the handle gets wider as it goes back toward the Lanyard hole for a more comfortable grip. You also receive a high-grade leather sheath with a belt loop and snap with the Elk Ridge Buck Head Logo in the center, again one more great (EDC) knife.
