FEG Model 74 English Walnut Checkered Pistol Grips NEW!

After many requests we now have beautiful new sets of English walnut grips for the FEG Model 74 pistol (often referred to as a "Carpati"), a small pistol found in caliber .32acp (7.65mm Browning), made in Europe
.  Similar to the FEG PA-63 and Walther PPK, these are available as surplus as police departments in Europe upgrade to newer weapons.
While the FEG company closed years ago there are many of these little gems around (mostly in Europe), as they were used in some European police departments, and are thus more common there than in the United States.  We have now created a beautiful grip for these guns.  These grips do not fit any other models from FEG or any other manufacturer.  Please see our other listings as we do have grips for other FEG models in other listings.
These are stunning grips with beautiful grain patterns and coloring, and the finest quality machining, all made in the USA.  The fit is very precise, and when installed will highly enhance the appearance of your firearm.  The grips are cut to achieve a tremendous grip surface that brings out the true grain of the natural wood.  This version of the grips are checkered within an area consisting of approximately 2/3 of the grip.  The depth of the fine checkering is easily seen from the top of the grip on both the left- and right-side grip areas, all the way to the bottom and around onto the edge of the grips.  These grips are installed as panels, with the correct grip screw supplied with the new grips (the old screw should be kept with your original grips).  These grips are simply outstanding when fitted to a gun, and there aren't any photos that really do these grips justice; these are simply beautiful.  The fit is tight, and we've found that some of these pistols vary slightly in frame dimensions as they were made without the benefit of CNC machining; because of this some minor fitting may be needed to accommodate some of the frames.
As shown in the photos, these also have checkering on the major part of grip, with the upper part left smooth to show the beautiful wood used.
The grips aren't varnished or coated, but are finished with a fine oil mixture to enhance the beauty of the wood and preserve it as well.  Whether your gun's finish is like, these will add that special touch, as no two sets of grips have exactly the same grain.
The checkering on these grips is very fine, and complements the gun's smaller outside dimensions perfectly.  These are easy to install as they're panel-type grips and simply replace those already on the gun.
These pictures are samples of the some of the grips; yours will be similar in appearance, but as every set varies due to the natural grain and color no two sets will be exactly alike.  The photos were taken with flash, causing the slight reddish hue in the color appearances, as the grips are brown in color, rather than reddish or orange.
These grips aren't plastic or synthetic; they are fine English walnut, with the grips made by craftsmen using modern CNC equipment to allow these to be sold at a price that is affordable.  They are beautifully made, and the pictures can't truly show the beauty of these grips.  The detail of the grain stands out because these aren't stained, they are oiled; the natural beauty of the wood shines through.

These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel.
