Large Clear Crystal Quartz Loose Gemstone,Beautiful Trillion Cut, 17mm,12.85cts.

Description

This large beauty is a magical quartz that is colorless. In some lighting it has a very slight pinkish cast, but it doesn't show up in all lighting and you would have to look very hard to notice it. Basically it is clear color with a tinge of white milkiness as you see in the photos. This gemstone is a beautiful trillion cut. It is quite large at 17mm and 9mm deep. Unless you like super large rings it might be best to put it in a pendant. The gem is eye clean. Forgive the photos with the dragon - it's just that the stone looks magical and my ipad has a dragon photo on the cover and they look so good together. Obviously this listing is for only the gemstone - no dragons are available!
I have decided to sell some gemstones that at one time I had the intention to use, but never got around to it. Gemstones are  hard to photograph, so sometimes I use a zoom lens on my camera to show clarity and details, but keep in mind, the stones are much smaller than the photos appear so please pay close attention to the dimensions. The colors might look different on different monitors. so double check my description for color. For example this stone is more golden with a completely even tone and the dark areas are shadows produced by light refection. I always say the weight is "about" a certain amount of carats because I realize that not all weight scales weigh in exactly the same and can be off by a tiny fraction up or down, but all in all my weight calculations are fairly accurate. Although I call the stone pre-owned because I owned it a long time, it is new condition - never used and has been stored carefully.
Please note I am not a gem dealer, although I probably have more knowledge about stones than most people since I have been collecting stones my entire life and studied color stones with the GIA. I'm just selling a few pieces I that never had the opportunity to use, and I'd like to see them go to someone who will enjoy and use them. I am not a store so I do not accept returns, as my goal is to thin out my collections, so please be sure you really love this gemstone before you buy it. To put your mind at ease about "no returns", if you find that any information about the materials in this item are not as described, which more than likely will not happen since I take lots of time in describing my pieces, I might consider a return, but I do not except returns if you have buyer's regret or if something doesn't fit, so please read the description carefully and feel free to ask any questions you might have before you bid or buy.
