Here’s a beautiful brand-new set of simulated STAG grips for your Ruger New Model Vaquero
; please read the paragraph below so you know what these do and do not fit.
These are made of synthetic material, which is a substitute for natural stag at an affordable price.  It has the similar characteristics as natural stag and is made to have a random appearance just like natural stag horn.  It is thus environmentally inert.  The result is stunning grips with beautiful polishing and the finest quality machining, all made in the USA.  The fit is very precise, and when installed will highly enhance the appearance of your firearm.  The grips are cut to achieve a nice grip surface that brings out the beauty of the bonded ivory.  This version of the grips are smooth, edge-to-edge, prior to "graining" to provide the look of real ivory grain.  These grips are installed in halves, with the screw supplied and shown in the pictures.  These grips are simply outstanding when fitted to a gun, and there aren't any photos that really do these grips justice; these are simply beautiful.
These are heavy, quality grips with the look of real stag, highly polished to enhance the beauty of the grip.
Each set differs from the next, as the "grain" in the material is unique to each piece, resulting in a set that will differ from every other in exact appearance.  The grain appears in the photos as darker areas, with the coloring uneven as is the case on natural stag grips.
Note: The Ruger New Model Vaquero shown in the last few photos is NOT being sold here and is not for sale at all, but is used to show how the grips appear when installed on the gun.
These are now an affordable, responsible way to have your favorite pistol wear a grip set that gives the gun that classic look, saving you the time of artificially aging our standard bonded ivory grips.
NOTE: These grips are not for every Ruger sixgun.  These fit the following Rugers using the "BNV" grip frame family, which are the
New Vaquero® (with serial numbers beginning with 510-00001 and later) and the 50th Anniversary Blackhawk® only.   These DO NOT fit what are now know as the "old" Vaquero® that had serial numbers beginning with 55-00001 thru
58-91296; if you have one of those guns please contact us as we have grips for older models as well.  These fit
all Ruger models with a New XR3 frame, NOT the XR3-RED as used on the Blackhawks. The New XR3 frames include the New Vaquero, 50th Anniversary .357 Blackhawk "Flattop" (2005), and 50th Anniversary .44 "Flattop" (2006) except Bisley and Birdshead models (see our other listings for those).

If you have questions, please feel free to contact us, as we want to make sure you get the correct grips.  Most of the guns listed have a frame ID cast into the grip frame, so by removing the existing grips from your gun you can often find out which frame you have.  Sometimes the ID isn't clear, so ask us and we'll assist you.
The grips have inserts to protect the grip while providing a secure attachment for the included grip screw.
These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel.
This is a great way to improve the appearance and handling of your gun while adding the look of fine wood to your Ruger.  They complement blued or stainless guns equally well.
