made these little hard plastic
dolls for a limited time only, from 1949
thru 1959. There seems to have been
a series of story
book dolls that they
made such as this little Heidi. I saw
a
Little Bo Beep, and Prince and Princess
set online when doing some serious research
on this set. Circa 1949.
Little Red Riding Hood
is complete
with her original
little
clothes that
were fitted and hand sewn
to her
petite little body. Her accessories;
a small twig for poking through the
forest,
a basket for carrying her
findings, and a sprig
of herbs with
mushrooms.
She has jointed arms and legs.
She was sewn into this box
when I purchased her. I had to
release her to research her.
Made in West Germany.
