Actor Parvathy ‘salutes’ Nayanthara’s open letter to Dhanush, celebs show support

Actor Parvathy Thiruvothu extended her support to Nayanthara after the latter wrote a loaded open letter against Dhanush for sending a legal notice in the Netflix documentary case. The popular Tamil actor used a ‘salute’ emoji as she tagged Nayanthara and shared her long note on Instagram stories.
The actor, who is regarded as Tamil cinema’s ‘lady superstar’, accused Dhanush of deliberately withholding the content of their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan from featuring in her documentary series titled, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. She also alleged that the Raayan actor doesn’t ‘practise what he preaches’, and that his actions were based out of hatred. Nayanthara even accused Dhanush of holding a personal grudge against her and her partner, director Vignesh Shivan.
A part of her viral post read, “It hurts that this decision of yours is only to vent out your personal grudge against us and that you have deliberately remained indecisive this long”, adding, “I wish you were half the person you portray to be on stage in audio launches in front of your innocent fans, but clearly, you do not practice what you preach, at least not for me and my partner”. The Jawan actor further called Dhanush a ‘tyrant’ and a small-hearted person.
Many celebs lined up to like Nayanthara’s viral post against Dhanush, thereby showing their support for her in the matter. Ekta Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Shilpa Rao, Shruti Haasan, Uorfi Javed, Anupama Parameswaran, Gouri G Kishan, Riya Shibu, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Nazriya Nazim, among many women from the film industry gave a thumbs up to her post.
